Cambier Park (755 Eighth Avenue South). A place to hangout with the kids directly behind Fifth Avenue South; what could be better? Cambier contains a small collection of outdoor workout machines and a fabulous playground. While the kids play, parents and friends can lounge on the picnic tables within close proximity to the fun.

Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples (15080 Livingston Road). C’mon is a total experience of 38,000-square-feet filled with interactive exhibits, programs, workshops and other fun adventures.

Lowdermilk Park (1301 Gulf Shore Boulevard North). If you’re looking to be near the beach, Lowdermilk is the ideal spot. With picnic tables and plenty of shaded areas, your family and friends can enjoy a picnic and swim in the Gulf of Mexico.

Naples Botanical Garden (4820 Bayshore Drive). This 170-acre garden paradise is home to the Smith Children’s Garden, which features water fountains for playing, a Hidden Garden, a Butterfly House and other interactive features. Visitors can also explore the Wild Florida Loop Trail, which includes a cypress swamp, hardwood hammock and shell mound.

Naples Zoo (1590 Goodlette-Frank Road). Who doesn’t love a fun zoo day? The Naples Zoo is located towards downtown Naples and filled with great animals and experiences, perfect for all children.

Naples Pier (25 12th Avenue South). Though currently closed for rebuilding, the iconic Naples Pier, located in the heart of downtown Naples, is still a well-loved spot for families to enjoy a sunset or fishing venture.

Sun-N-Fun Lagoon (15000 Livingston Road). If the sun’s out, head to Sun-N-Fun to cool off on water slides or in the lazy river, and enjoy other fun activities. (Note: Operation is seasonal; check website for hours during the month you plan to visit.)

Barbatella (1290 Third Street South). With plenty of pizzas and pastas to choose from, as well as a kids’ menu for ages 12 and under, Barbatella on Third Street South is a favorite for Italian.
